‘A Fond Farewell’ and ‘The Wishing Nether’ will screen at the 2009 Beloit International Film Festival as part of the ‘Altered States’ short film program.  Director Jack Bennett and composer Devin Anderson Wiley will be present at the screenings and they will be passing out a Limited Edition double disc DVD / CD package of all the Dahlia Films short films he has directed. The CD included with the package will include excerpts from the corresponding musical scores by the composer.  This package is limited to 200 copies, and is designed by the director himself.  To date the collaboration has extended through 7 projects over the course of 7 years - .Y (2003), Toast (2006), The Spanish Steps (2007), Synthetik (2007), The Neu-Transients (2007), The Double Felix (2008) and A Fond Farewell (2009) and they are currently set to work together again on Bennett’s highly anticipated feature-length debut, ‘A Fly Trapped in Amber’.
